Karen-Louise is a busy session Trumpeter, with a wealth of experience in many musical genres, including: Pop,Soul, Funk, Classical, Blues, Dance, Jive, Swing, Latin and Musical Theatre. In addition to playing, regularly,at some of London’s most popular music venues, she has performed all over the world from the Albert Hall tothe Kremlin, playing and singing backing vocals alongside some of the best musicians in the industry andbacking artists such as Michael Bolton (3 world tours 2007-008), Jaki Graham, Heatwave, Jocelyn Brown,Kenny Thomas, Ray Lewis/Roy Hemmings/Patrick Alan (Drifters), Eddie Holman, Clem Curtis (TheFoundations), Limahl (Kajagoogoo), Gwen Dickey (Rose Royce), Sheila Ferguson (Three Degrees),Thelma Houston, Roberto Pla (Internationally renowned percussionist) Claire Sweeney and many more.

Since 2021 Karen-Louise has been playing with Ministry Of Sound’s official Disco/funk live band tour,
alongside some incredible musicians (former members of George Michael’s band etc.) In 2018 she had the great honour of playing some of the most iconic TV themes ever written, with the famous KPM All Stars, for a star-studded celebration of British Library Music and has recently worked with the world renowned Empress Orchestra, playing for the world ballroom dancing championships.

Karen-Louise featured in the house band for Chris Moyles’ Quiz Night, which ran for 3 series (2008-2010)
performing with many celebrity guests, including Gary Barlow, Olly Murs and Jason Donovan. She has
made other TV appearances on Later…With Jules Holland (Gedeon Luke And The People), Alan
Titchmarsh Show (Rod Stewart), Best Christmas Ever (Alexander Armstrong), Strictly Come Dancing
(Sugar Babes), This Morning (Stooshe),The Paul O’Grady Show (Michael Bolton), Britain’s Got
Talent(Jack Pack/Iva Iglesias) and Big Brother….amongst others!

Thanks to her versatility as an artist, Karen is also a busy studio session musician with clients such as grammy award winning producer Simon Gogerly (Mixer/Producer for U2, Soul 11 Soul, Missy Elliot, Busta Rhymes) Volkswagen (Tall Girl advert), Total Accuracy (Guitar Magazine) She often records at well know London studios, such as Abbey Road Studies and Air Studios, amongst others. Karen-Louise also finds time to work/write/record with as many up-and-coming new artists and more established groups as she can fit in to her hectic diary, including the likes of Speedometer Funk (album sessions and gigs, including Indigo at the O2, supporting Earth Wind And Fire Experience – June 2015) Mr Little’s Noisy Band (2 album sessions) Kita Steuer’s Samba Soul (London Jazz Cafe and other Venues) Guerrera – all female Latin band (Jazz Café and other venues)

Karen-Louise enjoys working regularly, with great horn sections, in many of London’s most sought after Function bands/acts, including The All Stars Collective (2010 – present), with whom she has performed at many prestigious events (such as supporting Nile Rogers and Chic in February 2017..private event) and Studio 54s, which she runs and MDs.

She writes horn arrangements for many of the horn sections and often choreographs dance routines. She has played, internationally, as a soloist, with some of the world’s most talented DJs, including working for the well-known brand Hedkandi. She has also played with numerous classical orchestras, as well as performing solo/with organ accompaniment on Trumpet, Piccolo Trumpet and Flugelhorn, at weddings and funerals throughout the UK and Europe.

Karen-Louise is the founder of Brassogram, a popular street band, which utilizes musicians in their local areas, who can be sent to houses/venues all over the world, as a special gift.
