Blue Topaz Strings guarantees exceptional and professional string musicians who can perform well known classical, jazz and pop music styles from Bach to Beyonce.
We have a range of beautiful dresses according to your preference to match the mood and style of your event. We take bookings in London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Surrey, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Kent, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, East Sussex, West Sussex, Northamptonshire. If your venue is outside these locations please get in touch for a chat.
String Trio of violins and double bass:
Plays a range of music including classical, jazz and pop styles. Matching dress options on request. Suitable for 10-300 guests* (sound enhancement recommended from 70 guests upwards)
Violin and Cello Duo:
More classical in sound than the trio but still plays a variety of styles. Good for smaller gatherings/budgets of up to around 50 guests
Traditional String Quartet:
As for the duo – a classical sound but can play a range of styles. Good for guest numbers between 30 – 300* (*sound enhancement advised for more than 70 guests)
String Quintet of 4 violins and double bass (The same sound as the trio but with a greater aural and visual impact!):
A mix of classical, jazz and pop styles with an emphasis on modern covers. Good for guest numbers between 50 upwards. Sound enhancement recommended from 80 guests and beyond.
Sound Enhancement Service:
We recommend hire of our sound enhancement service for 70 plus guests. This enables us to spread the sound evenly around the space at a volume suitable for background music (ie not loud) It also means we can transport our sound to different spaces and inside/outside spaces. Lapel microphones and hand held microphones are also available.
All necessary PAT tested and insured equipment is included in the package, as is our professional and experienced sound engineer to oversee the booking.
