What Have You Done For Me Lately? – Loose Cannons new single

Having rocked and rioted throughout all of this year’s major UK festivals- stopping in between to headline events for their South African fans after they were propelled not once but twice this summer into top 5 chart glory with the delicious WHY YOU and  GIRLS IN HATS- The Loose Cannons return to the dancefloor, with a foxy, electronic cover of Janet Jackson’s classic- WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LATELY…

Appropriate to the Cannons’ own musical mandate, Ms Jackson has all the golden hooks and the lyrics are deliciously delivered in Kaiser Saucy’s spine-tingling tones… Add Lord Fader’s sexy guitar riffs and filthy, twisted production into the mix and you have a sensual, foot-tapping masterclass in how to revive a classic song and make it massive for a new generation

Now cleared for a full release, The Loose Cannons have teamed up with high street brand Urban Outfitters to offer an exclusive downloadable version via their new digital music service AMPLIFIED, a full 2 MONTHS ahead
of general release. Add to this a full Live show in London’s Oxford St store on Thursday November 15th and you have a monster track of Godzilla-esque proportions.

The Loose Cannons are one of the UK’s most gifted young artists/producers, with a discography that is staggering for such young talent and a weekly show live on Kiss FM. Based in London, they have honed their own unique sound, through playing the world over both in clubs and festival’s from Glastonbury to Sydney, via New York and beyond. Their rework of ‘What Have You Done For Me Lately’ gives an injection of pure adrenalin into an already massive record ensuring The Cannons stay fresh in your ears throughout the chilly months and prior to their much-anticipated new album in 2008. With a string of underground hits already notched up,
this immense rework of ‘What Have You Done For Me Lately’ will firmly brand the highly in demand name of The Loose Cannons onto the public consciousness.
